SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION OBJECTIVES
- Supplemental Instruction targets challenging
classes, not bad students
- Go to SI and you'll study less, and do better
- Learn actively in a small environment
- Come to SI to find out what you don't know
- SI is not a repeat of the lecture
- You will learn concepts by practicing with peers
- SI really works !
- Supplemental Instruction leaders lead one or
two, one-hour study sessions per week.
- SI leaders attend every lecture
- SI leaders serve as model students and must have
earned a good grade in the course in which they
want to serve as SI leader.
